Course Title:XPS Foam Waterproofing Shower Systems for Tiled Showers, Baths, and Wet Areas AIA Credit: 1 LU/HSW
Moisture related problems, from both installation issues and natural causes, are the leading source of tile application failures. This course will focus on using Cement Coated XPS to completely manage that moisure, while also offering a high performance tile substrate. Some of the major areas of emphasis will include shower floors and walls for both residential and commercial applications.

The characteristics of Extruded Polystyrene Foam (XPS) and its uses in tile applications.
The types of products tha can be produced with Cement Coated XPS, and how these products create a 100% waterproof tile application.

Year In Review
As we kick off 2026, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the milestones and accomplishments that made 2025 a standout year for our company. We welcomed 10 new team members, expanding our expertise and strengthening our ability to serve our customers, while also celebrating two employees who marked 25 years of service—a true testament to their dedication and commitment.
Throughout the year, we continued to invest in our product offerings and showroom experiences. We expanded our S4S hardwood stock selection, enhanced our Architectural Hardware showroom, and added new HB&G column displays to better inspire and support our customers’ design needs. We also introduced an expanded Trex Railing line and refreshed all Trex displays, showcasing the latest options available.
We were especially proud to see Beth Fay Lane recognized with the HBS Dealer Top Women Award for Hardware & Building Suppliers, highlighting the leadership and talent within our organization.
