This  one-hour AIA CEU course focused on elevating occupant well-being and protection by eliminating haphazard design through strategic planning, business acumen, and thoughtful material selection.

This course explores competitive advantage strategies related to the building envelope, with an emphasis on materials such as fiber cement cladding. Participants will gain insight into industry shifts impacting the built environment and occupant welfare, and learn how to create resilient, sustainable spaces through informed decision-making.

Using Porter’s Five Forces Framework, the program highlights key elements of strategic planning and demonstrates how sound material choices contribute to successful projects that prioritize occupant comfort, safety, and long-term architectural value.
